What this site records
Short version: I see how the site is used and which companies visit it, never who you are, unless you write to me.
Visits
I count visits with my own simple analytics, not Google Analytics or any ad network. For each visit I record the pages viewed, how far you scrolled, which buttons you clicked, time on page, device type (phone, tablet or desktop), the site that sent you here and any campaign tags in the link.
A visit gets a random id that lives only in your browser tab and disappears when you close it. To tell repeat visits apart within a day, the server mixes your IP address and browser type into a code that changes every day and cannot be turned back into either. Your IP address itself is not stored.
Which company a visit comes from
Once per visit, the server asks a lookup service (ipapi.is, or ipinfo.io as a backup) which organisation your network is registered to, for example a company or an internet provider. I keep only that organisation's name. Your IP address is sent to the service for the lookup and is not stored by this site.
Personal links
If I sent you a link to this site, it may carry a short code tied to our conversation. Visits through that link are recorded against it, so I can see that the link was opened and which pages were read.
Contact form
If you send the contact form, I keep your name, email, company and message so I can reply, and I get a notification about it. I can also see the pages visited in the same browser tab before the message was sent.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking cookies. The only cookie it uses marks my own browsers so my visits are not counted.
Where it is kept
The site runs on Vercel. Visit data and messages are stored in a Supabase database that only I can access. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
Deleting your data
Email milan.solutions.ai@gmail.com and I will delete what this site holds about you: your messages, and visits made through a link I sent you.
